Direct Input of Dataset

You can give the dataset or datasets processed in the actual program task with path information, if necessary, in a direct way, where you can use the special character ‘?’ for any character and ’*’ for any group of characters in a dataset name (”wild-card information“) as usual in MS-DOS to choose many datasets.

To enter an existing dataset and its path information into the input field, you can click on the “folder” symbol on the left side, choose a dataset, and click on the “Open” button of the dataset choose dialogue. Afterwards you can still edit the name in the input field as you like.
