Kann eigenen Font nicht im eigenen Projekt ausgeben. Was mache ich falsch?

Ich habe aus dem Freetype Beispiel aus Lazarus ein eigenes Testprogramm erstellt wobei ich mit eine Fontklasse gebaut habe, die ich damit nun testen will.

Aber nun wird eine External SIGSEGV geworfen, von folgender Methode:
